Pflugerville Pets Alive cordially invites you to participate as a sponsor of our annual Dog Jog/5K run. This event has steadily grown each year as new vendors and sponsors join in on the fun. The increase in attendance year over year makes Pflugerville Pets Alive’s Dog Jog and 5K run a favorite family and pet friendly community event every year. The 5th annual Dog Jog will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Pfluger Park. The event will kick off with a warm up and the run will begin at 8:00AM.

Your sponsorship provides pets in our community with much needed medical care and to provide community assistance programs such as spay and neuter programs, microchip clinics and community resources to help pet owners keep their pets out of the shelters. Pflugerville Pets Alive is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit run by volunteers. We rely solely on income, sponsors and donors from the community to continue our efforts. All donations are tax deductible! Your sponsorship encourages people to get out in the community and be active, promotes your brand, and gives to the great cause of Pflugerville Pets Alive!

There are various levels of sponsorship for the Dog Jog.

Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of the Pflugerville Pets Alive!. The Pflugerville Pets Alive! will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Pflugerville Pets Alive!.

No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.

Pflugerville Pets Alive! will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.

Pflugerville Pets Alive! will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of Pflugerville Pets Alive!.

Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Pflugerville Pets Alive!.

Pflugerville Pets Alive! will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received by the charity as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by Pflugerville Pets Alive!.

Pflugerville Pets Alive! will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the Pflugerville Pets Alive! will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.

Pflugerville Pets Alive! will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the Pflugerville Pets Alive!.
